A little help, when you need it

Here to help.

Find help with your account, everyday records, and the money you share. Start with the topic that fits.

Keep your records safe while troubleshooting.

If something hasn’t synced, keep the app installed on the device with your latest records. Check the sync status before signing out or changing devices.

Getting started

Perri is coming soon to the Apple App Store for iPhone. The download link will appear on the Perri homepage when it is available. If you already have access to a test version, the guidance below can help.

You can use Perri for your own finances or with a household. It keeps records of accounts, spending, bills, and shared expenses. Recording a payment or settling an expense does not transfer money through your bank.

Signing in

Use Sign in with Apple with the same Apple Account you used to create your Perri account. Apple may have provided a private relay email address. Perri uses Supabase to manage your Perri sign-in session and household access; iCloud handles finance and attachment sync.

Check your internet connection and try signing in again. A sign-in or household-access problem can occur even when iCloud is available. If the problem continues, contact support with the message you see. Never send your password or verification codes.

iCloud and missing records

Start on the device where you last saw the records. Keep that device and its local data available while you check sync:

  1. Check that you are signed in to the expected Perri account and household.
  2. In iPhone Settings, check your Apple Account, iCloud access, and available iCloud storage.
  3. Connect to the internet. In Perri, open Settings → Sync & storage, read the sync status, and use Sync now.
  4. If a list looks incomplete, check the selected month and account filters.

Do not delete and reinstall Perri as a first troubleshooting step. Changes that have not synced may exist only on that device. If sync still fails, send support the status message and which device has the latest records.

Importing a statement

Choose the original PDF from your bank when possible. If it is password-protected, enter the password in Perri when prompted. Review the extracted transactions, amounts, dates, and statement totals before importing.

Supported statement analysis runs on your iPhone. If Perri asks for an optional analysis model, follow the instructions in the app to obtain and select it. The model can take device storage, and availability depends on your device and app version.

If an import fails, tell support the bank name, file type, app version, and error message. Start with a description or a redacted screenshot. Do not email statement passwords, full card numbers, or an unredacted statement.

Shared expenses and Settle Up

If a shared amount looks wrong, check the household, selected month, account owner, people included in the split, and any recorded payments. An account filter changes what you see; it does not change who can access shared household records.

Settle Up records who owes what. Make the actual payment through your chosen bank or payment service, then record it in Perri. Avoid recording the same payment twice while investigating a difference.

Purchases and subscriptions

If you purchased a Perri subscription through the App Store, manage it in iPhone Settings → your name → Subscriptions. If a paid feature is unavailable, check that the purchase is associated with the Apple Account you are using.

Apple handles App Store billing and refund requests. Follow Apple’s steps to manage or cancel your subscription or request a refund. Deleting the app or your Perri account does not cancel a subscription.

Your data and account

To delete your account, open Settings → Account → Delete account in Perri. Read the deletion details and use the export option if you want a copy of your finance records. Save attachments separately before confirming.

Shared-household records may remain available to other members. Contact support about retained information or if deletion cannot complete. Read the privacy and deletion details before proceeding. If you cannot access your account, contact support for help with your request.
