A shared understanding
Terms of use
The terms for using Perri to keep your everyday money and shared expenses organized.
Last updated
Perri helps you keep track of your money. It does not make payments or replace your bank’s records. Review your numbers, protect your account, and share only what you have permission to share.
Using Perri
These terms apply to your use of the Perri app and getperri.app. By using Perri, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, do not use the service.
You must be legally able to agree to these terms, or have permission from a parent or guardian where required. Perri is not intended for children under 13.
For an app downloaded from Apple’s App Store, Apple’s Standard End User License Agreement applies unless a separate custom license accompanies the app. These terms describe your use of Perri’s service alongside that license.
A tool for keeping track
Perri helps you organize financial records, spending, bills, savings, and shared expenses. It is not a bank, payment service, or financial adviser, and it does not hold or transfer your money.
Recording a payment, transfer, or settlement in Perri changes your records only. You remain responsible for making actual payments through your bank or payment provider.
Summaries, reminders, exchange rates, forecasts, and imported statement details are informational. They can contain errors, be incomplete, or arrive late. Check your original statements, payment dates, and calculations before making decisions. Perri does not provide financial, investment, tax, or legal advice.
Your account and household
Keep your sign-in credentials and device secure. Provide accurate account information and contact support if you suspect unauthorized access.
Only invite people or add information you are authorized to share. Household members may view and change shared records according to their access. You are responsible for agreeing on shared expenses and resolving payment disagreements with other members.
Keep copies of important records and documents. Sync requires supported services and connectivity; an unsynced local change may not be available on another device.
Your information and content
You retain your rights to records and files you add to Perri. You give Perri permission to store, process, display, and sync that information as needed to deliver the features you use, including authorized household sharing.
You must have the right to use the information and documents you add. Our Privacy Policy explains how Perri handles that information and how to request deletion.
The Perri app, branding, artwork, and website remain the property of their respective owners. These terms do not transfer ownership of them to you.
Responsible use
Use Perri lawfully and respect other people’s privacy. You must not:
- Access another person’s account or records without permission.
- Upload unlawful content or information that infringes another person’s rights.
- Disrupt the service, distribute malicious software, or bypass security and access controls.
- Use the service to commit fraud, impersonate someone, or harass others.
We may restrict or suspend access when reasonably necessary to address misuse, protect the service, or meet legal obligations.
Paid features and subscriptions
If Perri offers paid features, the purchase screen shows the price, billing period, and any trial terms before you confirm. Availability can vary by release and region.
Apple processes purchases made through the App Store. Subscriptions renew automatically unless you cancel under the terms shown at purchase. Manage or cancel a subscription in iPhone Settings → your name → Subscriptions. Deleting Perri or your Perri account does not cancel an Apple subscription.
Refund requests for App Store purchases go through Apple and remain subject to applicable consumer rights. See Apple’s instructions to cancel a subscription or request a refund.
Availability and other services
Perri may change as we improve the app. Features can depend on your device, operating system, region, account, and external services. Apple provides sign-in, iCloud sync, and App Store purchases; Supabase supports Perri accounts, profiles, and household access. We cannot promise uninterrupted availability or that every feature will remain available indefinitely.
Apple and other external services have their own terms and availability limits. Links do not make Perri responsible for those services. Where required, we will notify you of material changes affecting paid services and honor applicable remedies.
Warranties and responsibility
To the extent permitted by law, Perri is available “as is” and “as available,” without a promise that it will be error-free or suitable for every purpose. You remain responsible for checking records and meeting your financial obligations.
To the extent permitted by law, Perri is not liable for indirect or consequential losses arising from use of, or inability to use, the service. Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded or limits your mandatory consumer rights.
Leaving Perri
You can stop using Perri at any time. To delete your account, open Settings → Account → Delete account in Perri and review what will be removed. Export records and save attachments you need before confirming.
Shared-household records may remain available to other members. The Privacy Policy explains deletion and retention. Any active App Store subscription must be managed separately with Apple.
Changes and contact
We may revise these terms as the service changes. We will update the date on this page and provide additional notice of material changes where required. If you do not agree to revised terms, you can stop using Perri.
If part of these terms is unenforceable, the remaining terms continue to apply. For questions about these terms or a problem with the service, contact Perri support.
